Jean-François is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on Art Law, entertainment and commercial Law. He is teaching graduate courses on Art Law in Paris and Lyon French Universities.
Forth coming publications includes chapters in the Art Market Book (Dalloz Editions/France) and in Lexology Art Law. He is a speaker (in various conferences including IBA, Hermitage Museum, British museum, etc.) and has published on issues related to Art Law and Business.
Jean-François’ law practice includes litigation, arbitration and mediation and has served in a wide range of Art Law and commercial disputes at both domestic and international level.
He is a member of various associations including the legal committee of ICOM (International council of Museums) linked to Unesco. He is also conseiller du commerce extérieur de la France, International Bar association (Former President of the Art Law Committee). Jean- François was appointed to the Mediator pool of CAfA in January 2020.
As an attorney, he joined various firms including Gide Loyette Novel Lawfirm (Paris), Bell and Campbell English Lawfirm (Paris) , was a partner with Berlioz Law Firm (Paris) and of founding partner of UGGC Avocats (Paris).
His educational background includes Master of Law and DES at Paris University. Besides being a native French speaker, he is fluent in English.
